2024-05-12 Retirement Lifestyle Advocates Radio w/ Karl Denninger

Karl Denninger joins your host Dennis Tubbergen on this week’s Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio show. Denninger expressed skepticism about the recent healthy jobs report, noting that many of the jobs added were in healthcare and government, sectors that add cost to living but not necessarily betterment. He also pointed out that employment in sectors that benefit everyone, such as mining, manufacturing, and transportation, remained flat. Denninger predicted that the Federal Reserve would likely raise rates, and he expressed concern about the increasing credit card debt and low personal savings rate.

Mr. Karl Denninger is an American technology businessman, finance blogger, author, and political activist, sometimes referred to as a founding member of the Tea Party movement. Mr. Denninger is the author of the book Leverage: How Cheap Money Will Destroy the World. In the book, Denninger presents an inside look at how moneyed and powerful interests debase the dollar through the willful and intentional failure to honestly represent short and long-term mathematical truths that underlie all economic systems.

2024-04-21 Retirement Lifestyle Advocates Radio w/ Kerry Lutz

In this week’s Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio show, host Dennis Tubbergen interviews Kerry Lutz, founder of the Financial Survival Network, who discusses the current economic climate and investment strategies. Lutz suggested that inflation is likely to continue to rise and that investing in assets that generate cash flow, such as residential real estate, is a good strategy. He also recommended having a position in precious metals like gold and silver and considering cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as a "lottery ticket" investment. Lutz also predicted that commercial real estate could become a surprise performer in the future despite its current struggles.

Kerry Lutz has been a student of Austrian Economics since 1977. While attending Pace University, he stumbled upon an extensive cache of Austrian Economic Literature in a dark, musty, abandoned section of the school’s library. After graduating from The New York Law School, he became an attorney and lifelong serial entrepreneur. In 2010, Kerry gave up most of his other interests to pursue his desire of becoming a radio show host and founded the Financial Survival Network, whose mission is to help you prosper and thrive in the New Economy.

2024-04-14 Retirement Lifestyle Advocates Radio w/ Simon Popple

This week’s interview with your host, Dennis Tubbergen, on RLA Radio, features Simon Popple, a gold investment expert, discussing his views on the current state of the banking sector, commodities, and the real estate market. Popple believes that banks have been able to rely on central banks to print money, but this may not be sustainable in the long term. He is a strong advocate for investing in commodities, particularly gold, as they are tangible assets that cannot be printed. Popple also expressed concern about the commercial real estate market, as demand for these properties is decreasing due to more people working from home.

Mr. Simon Popple is the author of the Brookville Capital Intelligence Report. Mr. Popple started a newsletter with MoneyWeek called Metals & Miners, and when they were acquired, he set up Gold Speculator with Jim Rickards. During this time, he was a featured speaker at MoneyWeek and Mines & Money conferences. Mr. Popple has also done numerous interviews with IGTV on the gold market.

2024-04-07 Retirement Lifestyle Advocates Radio w/ Harry Dent

On this week’s episode of Retirement Lifestyle Advocates Radio with your host Dennis Tubbergen, economist Harry Dent predicts a significant economic downturn in the US, with the government adding a trillion dollars in debt every 100 days. He believes that the US has been avoiding a second Great Depression since 2008 by printing money and running consistent deficits, but this is unsustainable and will lead to a financial crisis. Dent predicts a 50% decline in real estate and an 80-90% drop in stocks. He advises investors to move into safe long-term treasury bonds, which he believes could double in value during the crisis. Dent also criticizes the government's attempts to avoid recessions, arguing that they are a necessary part of the economic cycle.

Harry Dent is internationally recognized for the accuracy of his economic forecasts and is the author of the #1 best-selling book, Zero Hour. He’s appeared on “Good Morning America,” PBS, CNBC, CNN, and Fox News. He’s been featured in Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily, Entrepreneur, Fortune, Success, U.S. News and, World Report, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, American Demographics and Omni.
