Exciting and New

From an undisclosed suburban basement somewhere in Jersey…3 guys (and guests!) are churning out consistent content on film review. It isn’t really a deep dive into the film..thankfully. Go geek out elsewhere if you want an exploration of French New Wave cinema or yet another Marvel jerk off fest. Exciting and New are tackling movies year by year (they started in 1982.. but allowed a grace period to discuss some older films). Discussing the genre, the plot-line (or lack thereof) who’s dead, or who looks dead but is actually just a few years older than the hosts. Pop reference heavy, tangential and funny. Fun film-related banter with just the right amount of analysis. This is the podcast you need. Download and give it a whirl.

It’s hard to find people who would be interested in binging The Love Boat, but here they are! It’s great to hear them notice the same oddities that I do, the commentary of how the times were, the discussion of the various stars and their careers. I had been sporadically watching episodes, but have started from the beginning to go along with them! Thank you for this!
