Every other week, astrophysicist/folklorist Moiya McTier explores fictional worlds by building them with a panel of expert guests, interviewing professional worldbuilders, or reviewing the merits of worlds that have already been built. You'll learn, you'll laugh, and you'll gain an appreciation for how special our planet really is.

Customer Reviews
Where has this been all my life!?!
OMG! This show is awesome! Long time listener of Fraiser Cains “Weekly Space Hangout” which Moiya is frequent contributor and just heard about this podcast. As an avid sci-fi and fantasy reader and watcher I think about this all the time! This is great to get real scientific and cultural views on what it actually could be like. My only wish is that it was longer!
Go Astro Mo!!!!
Episode 1 and I’m already hooked!

Explore strange new worlds and new civilizations…
With a mix of science and imagination each episode sends the listener to far off worlds. Explore strange new worlds like the planet of ice squid, dancing party birds, and many more.
