Each time I listen to one of Matt’s podcasts, I’m always glad I spent the time listening - even when at the onset, the subject line didn’t necessarily grab me. It’s refreshing to listen to someone who comes across (and presumably is) knowledgeable, approachable, humorous, thoughtful and engaging. From my perspective as a travel advisor, I appreciate Matt’s exploration of the world and the perspective he brings to his listeners, especially in this time of pandemic, when for many would be travelers, this is a time to keep the dream of travel alive especially when you can’t get to where you really want to go. Matt’s topics and guests provide that kind of inspiration.

I love listening to this podcast when I need a little escape and just want to dream about where I’m traveling to next! The host is incredibly articulate, well-researched and smart, his content is approachable and broad, and each episode is crisp and on point (and sometimes hilarious.) Thank you, Matt, for the work that you do, especially in these uncertain times!!

I have an insatiable appetite for podcasts, and Explore the World has quickly become one of my favorites. Matt does an amazing job taking the listener to various destinations, and interviewing travel experts in-tune with those locales. Each episode is fresh and entertaining. I get excited each week when I get the notification that a new episode has been released. So glad I found this one.

In full disclosure, Matt is my friend and a colleague in the travel industry. So of course I was going to listen in to see what the podcast is like and I did think I would like it. But I'm blown away by how much I enjoy listening to 'Explore the World with Matt Long'. He's got a wonderful voice that's enjoyable to listen to. He picks his topics and his guests well and he's sharing information that's not on other podcasts! I definitely recommend it.

One of my favorite podcasts, definitely recommend for the information that Matt provides on traveling from how to save a few dollars to how to avoid tourist traps and get off the beaten path. I listen on my 1 hour commute to and from work and makes my drive so much more enjoyable.

Matt Long is a natural podcasting host, with a warm, conversational style that stems from his own curiosity and passion for world travel. His show is a lot of fun to listen to, and the information goes down easy. Can't wait to hear more discussion from the experts he has on in future episodes!

Matt has been my favorite travel writer for awhile now, so I was super excited to hear about his podcast, and have not been disappointed! I've really enjoyed the first three episodes, each of the interviews has been really entertaining and informative. Definitely worth a listen!

I love that it’s not just about travel but WHY we should travel. The interviews give you an introspective look on how travel shapes you, where to go next, and how to best travel the world. Can’t wait for more.
