Above the rest
In my top 5 of all time… well researched, well told, Barry is lovable.
One of the best!
I love this podcast and love the hosts voice. It’s very soothing and it is not like he’s reading from a script. It’s as if this is just conversational, which I love. His accent is so nice it makes me want to go live in a lighthouse off of the coast of Scotland. And drink, hot cocoa.
That reverb tho
Too much echo and the host—while he’s at least interested in the case—he himself, is dry and not that likable. I’m just bored by what he’s saying and kind of unnerved by all the reverb. It would be different if he used the reverb to be extra-creepy…but he’s not. He just laughs at his own non funny jokes. Maybe the stories are good, but I didn’t wanna listen and find out…
