Josh, I found your podcast around 6 months or so ago and began listening from the beginning and working my way forward. My plan was to wait to review your podcast until after I had caught up to present but your November 7, 2023 interview with Bill Ayers so alarmed me that I am compelled to comment now. History does not regard Ayers as some sort of social justice warrior, but rather as a counter-culture radical who was intimately involved in domestic terrorism in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In your interview of him he boasted of the only deaths associated with SDS / Weather Underground being the three conspirators who planned to detonate a bomb containing nails at Fort Dix. (He even acquiesced to the fact that innocent people not being killed during any of the many instances of Weather Underground / SDS domestic terrorism as more or less because of luck.) YOU THEN PROCEEDED TO EXPRESS YOUR CONDOLENCES TO HIM FOR THE DEATHS OF THOSE THREE DOMESTIC TERRORISTS! Nails in bombs are intended to injure / kill people - how pathetic and disgustingly shameful for you to express your condolences to a co-conspirator of those three dead domestic terrorists! Finally, you allowed him to disparage a true American hero and patriot (with no pushback or rebuttal from you whatsoever), John McCain, who was mercilessly tortured by his evil North Vietnamese communist captors. The Vietnam War was a lawful military operation that was undertaken by the government of the United States of America at the behest of the government of South Vietnam, and John McCain was undertaking his lawful duties as a combat pilot of the United States Navy. How dare you not speak a few words in McCain’s defense but instead you let a domestic terrorist like Ayers denigrate him and then reinvent and/or recast history at the expense of a true American hero! I can’t bear to listen to any more of this pathetic patronizing drivel, Josh - I’m out!!!

Compelling interviews with people who are unsung who were at moments. Covers new ground. Columbine principal, while a sad story, is also uplifting and worth a listen.
