    Contending for the Faith

    Contending for the Faith

What issues are the most important to our faith, and what issues can we disagree on as believers? The Book of Jude compels readers to contend for the faith in orthodox Christianity and fight for unity in peripheral matters. We must be faithful to the truth, and that faithfulness to the truth will inform how we live.  Speaker: Mike Slayden

    An Overview of Jude

    An Overview of Jude

Jude, believed to be Jesus's half-brother, is writing a message of judgment to people who are not truly believers. The book of Jude exposes false teaching and compels readers to contend for the faith in light of false teachers. We must be faithful to the truth, and that faithfulness to the truth will inform how we live. Ultimately, the book of Jude raises our eyes to the beauty of a God who revealed himself in truth.  Speaker: Brad Bell

    That We May Know

    That We May Know

While there are several interpretations of this passage, we can be assured that because we have done nothing to earn our salvation, we can do nothing to lose it.  Speaker: Mike Slayden

The Well

Stumbled on this podcast and heard PJ Lewis' intro to the gospel of Mark. He is a gifted expository preacher which is what we lack here in L.A. Well done! - 0622/15
