    The Vessel-The Power of our Rords

    We believe God’s Word, and we speak to the mountain, just as God’s Word instructs us. Yet still we seem to fall short of receiving God’s best. Why is this? The answer may lie in the next part of Mark 11. Do we actually believe that what we say will come to pass? Do we recognize that our words have power, when spoken by the authority in the Name of Jesus, to bring about the change we desire? So often we don’t, and for many, this is the missing piece of the faith connection. We must grasp the fact that the words that we speak have the power to change circumstances, to bring about healing, to bring blessings upon ourselves and our families, and more. Of course, we must also recognize that our words have the power to bring about sickness, disaster, and death, because God isn’t the only one listening. There is a devil on the loose, operating as a thief, and God has given us authority over him, but it is up to us to exercise that authority. Join Pastor Matt for an exciting look at numerous Scriptural and personal examples of how to put the Word to work in our lives.

    Faith School-The Power of Speaking and Believing

    Too often, believers fall for the lie of the enemy, that our lives are no different from everyone else in the world - that we must be subject to the same hardships, sickness, poverty, disaster, and more. This has never been made clearer than in today’s world, where new viruses, a struggling economy, marital strife, depression, and anxiety are at an all-time high. Yet according to God’s living Word, these things were never intended for us. There is a way to live above such problems as children of the King of Kings, and Covenant partners with God through Christ. Confessing God’s Word daily is an important part of receiving everything God has promised to us, because faith comes by hearing God’s Word, and there is no better way to hear His Word, than for us to speak it aloud and declare it boldly.

    Faith School-Take Him at his Word

    Lord, if it’s Your will, please heal me. We’ve all heard prayers like that. Most of us have even prayed prayers like that. But what does the Bible actually say? When we study God’s Word, especially the life, ministry, and the Words of Jesus Himself, we see a very different picture - not of a God Who sometimes gives healing and sometimes sickness, but rather, of a God Who has already done the work to secure our healing and health, prosperity, protection, peace, and everything else we need for life on earth and in Heaven. Faith begins where the will of God is known, and today, Pastor Matt will explore how to put Spiritual laws and principles of faith into practice.

    If God loves us, why do bad things happen? Why does Satan even exist? How important is one believer in the body of Christ? What right do we have to expect good things? These are just some of the questions on so many people’s minds, and today, Pastor Matt, by the power of the Holy Spirit, will answer many of them! As you continue to study God’s Word, to recognize how and why God created mankind, and to grasp the amazing benefits available to the believer, you will see a very different picture than the one that is often painted for us. You will no longer see yourself defeated and hopeless, wandering in a world that is only getting worse. Instead, you will begin to see yourself victorious, as one with Covenant authority in the name of Jesus, authority to change your life, and to live as God intended. Praise God, you have the authority!

    We have been discussing the need to stop trying to be made right by the law. We must live by Grace through faithe. But, do we understand the extent of the benefits and privileges we receive when we accept Christ as Savior? Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we can now become children of the King of Kings, adopted, justified, redeemed, glorified, and Covenant partners with God through Christ. What a blessing!

    We have heard that salvation comes by grace through faith, not by works. But what about the law? What about the ten commandments? Did God intend to use the law to bless His people? Was Jesus a plan B? Thank God, He was God’s plan for the redemption of humanity all along! Join Pastor Matt for this powerful teaching, which explains the purpose of the law, the connection between sin and the negative outcomes in the world, and the freedom that comes from putting our faith in Jesus. This is the Gospel of Grace, and it is available to everyone who believes on the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
