Amazing podcast!
I just love reading along with these guys and learning cool things that I may have not caught in the book that they caught as I read along with them!
Enjoyable
50 yr old fantasy lover since The Sword of Shannara and Dragonlance came out.
I like how they dissect the plots and little nuggets of lore the author throws in to add to the mystery of the story that otherwise I would overlook but still ingest subconsciously. They point out little plots of did you notice this or that and comment on those.
It is a good balance of one host being a veteran of the story and the other host first reading so as a first time reader, I’m reading it in hee perspective with Coltan? being the guide to the story reminding you of remember this or that before.
Also helps greatly with Brandon Sandersons style of east to understand story without getting bogged down in names and minute stuff albeit WOT series.
Sum up, good book club podcast.
