Episode 26: Debunking Mushroom Myths & Misinformation

Mushrooms have a misinformation problem as half-truths and falsehoods are propagated in the media and repeated with no critical review. In this episode I tackle the most common myths and provide my skeptical take. This is the episode to share with your friends and family who are still confused or afraid of mushrooms. Unfortunately this is also the last episode of the FbF podcast as the Callin app is shutting down. All episodes will be available on my Patreon and YouTube, but I’m not sure when they will be back up on streaming services. Thank you all so much for listening 🍄❤️
P.S. Sorry about the audio quality on this one, the mute button was on the whole time I was recording so I had to pull the audio off of YouTube.

Great resource for learning about all things Fungi

Very informative podcast that is presented well with interesting guests talking about a different aspects of mycology. Definitely recommend this to anyone tying. To learn more about the subject. Some eps are a little low volume but all in all, this is one of the best mycology podcasts available.

Best Mushy Podcast

Gordon does a great job expressing his fascination with fungi in a way that’s both engaging and educational. He provides a lot of scientific information in a way that’s easily digestible for us non-scientists. The audio quality has improved dramatically since the early episodes. Definitely worth a listen if you’re a mushroom enthusiast.
