NKWO is an artisanal brand at the forefront of sustainability and social innovation in the Nigerian fashion industry. The brand creates artisanal and limited-edition pieces from second-hand denim, made in Nigeria cotton, end-of-line fabric, cutting table waste and single use plastic. She explores the importance of decolonizing fashion education and the work she is doing through CIAFE to connect the diaspora globally. Frederica Brooksworth "Creating impactful solutions to future-proof the Global fashion industry and its people, through education, research and strategy." Frederica Brooksworth is a British-Ghanaian Academic, Researcher, Strategist, Editor and Author. She is the Executive Director Fashion Education Group which subsidiaries are the Council for International African Fashion Education (CIAFE) and Profashional Development. Brooksworth is also the Director of IA Connect (Industrie Africa) and Regional Editor (Africa) for Bloomsbury Fashion Business Cases. Brooksworth has taught at numerous universities and is a lecturer at the London College of Fashion, British School of Fashion, Hult International Business School and Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design. She is a Board Member at BlueCrest University College. Brooksworth is the author of ‘Fashion Marketing in Emerging Economies’ published by Palgrave Macmillan. She is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education with a focus on innovating the African Fashion Education system in order to close the knowledge and skills gap to create employability opportunities and contribute to economic growth. Brooksworth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing and a Master of Arts in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation obtained from the London College of Fashion. Now an Author of the coffee table book Fashion Africa, an International Public Speaker, a University Fashion lecturer, an African Fashion Business Consultant and industry researcher, Jacqueline, who owns a Masters degree in Ethical Fashion and a Masters in Social Research (2018) is known for being an expert and most proudly an ambassador in the Ethical African fashion landscape. Jacqueline, with her unique tools and strategies, specialises in creating sustainable solutions that help new and existing fashion businesses successfully navigate the sourcing and manufacturing landscape of Africa's fashion and textile industry.  Jacqueline believes Africa is Fashion's Future and has used her African fashion tee shirt campaign using Fairtrade, organic African cotton tees made in Africa by Africans to spread this message on the catwalks of London Fashion Week to Ghana to Los Angeles. Jacqueline is unapologetically a champion for fashion in Africa and her work and reputation not only proceeds her, but represents her enthusiasm and high belief in this.
