FATCA- the early days

Tax Transparency Talks

It has been over 10 years since Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) was introduced creating the first wide reaching automatic of exchange information regime. Since then, regimes such as the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) have come in to being and newer similar regimes are being introduced. As clients start to look at the impact on their organisations of these newer regimes, we take the opportunity to look back at how FATCA and CRS were implemented and the challenges they pose.

Our guests for this episode are:

Tara Ferris - Neil Higgins - Lu-Shen Qua
