For the Patient & the Hospice Worker
10/06/2024
Thank you for doing a podcast that is appropriate for the dying patient, family member or friend, & Hospice Worker. I worked in Hospice as a Counselor earlier in my career. How great it would have been to have something like this. As the patient, I am finding it super beneficial. I’m only beginning to hit respiratory difficulties & your podcast gave me great ideas on better ways to handle my day to day living. I’m not in hospice yet but things have begun to move more rapidly recently & basic life skills are becoming more challenging. I do receive palliative care & have noticed my neck muscles are now hurting nonstop. This place in life can be very isolating as not all people, whether friends or family, are comfortable with the situation and it’s easy to find oneself alone when we need our family & friends more than ever. Your podcast is both informative & comforting. I can’t tell you how very much it helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work.
