Hey friends! Our names are Ashley and Lizzie and we are the hosts of the Reckless to Redeemed podcast. We are two best friends who used to love the party scene and spent most of our friendship thriving off worldly desires. In 2022 God had other plans for our friendship and He turned our destructive party lifestyle into a life redeemed by Christ. Now we are here to share that there is power in the name of Jesus and He will guide you on the narrow path to freedom.

    In today’s episode we had the pleasure of sitting down with Megan Tharp as she shared her testimony. Megan is living proof of God’s grace and love. She hit many bumps in the road on her way to redemption and sometimes she questioned how she’d ever get on the straight and narrow. She thought the vicious cycle of drinking, lust, and regret was a battle she would never win. After a very tragic event occurred she deeply felt in her soul that God told her “This ends here” and from there she truly surrendered her life to Him and things began to change for the better.     No matter what you are going through God is walking it with you. He is with us on the mountain and in the valley. He is with us on our brightest days and our darkest nights. Our seasons may change but He never does. God made us a promise that He would never leave or forsake us. Though we may not always feel His presence we serve a God that stays true to His promises so we can always rest in that. Our God, the Creator, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the King of the universe is fighting our battle for us.     By His Wounds We Are Healed

    Do you ever find yourself searching for answers on why you had to go through the hard times in your life? Yeah… We have too but God has revealed to us that the hard times weren’t for nothing. God had a plan for our testimonies all along and He has a plan for yours too. Through our journey of speaking our testimonies publicly we have seen more and more His glorious light shining through the hard parts of our stories. God has used our painful testimonies for His Kingdom purpose and we KNOW now that even the hard times were worth it. God works all things for good for those who love Him and we can all rest in the fact that He will use our stories for good too. Isaiah 53:5 says that ”He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.“ Your painful past was hung up on that cross with Jesus and by His wounds you are healed. Now it’s time for you to decide whether you want to keep God’s redeeming power that has been shown all throughout your testimony a secret or if you’re ready to speak up and bring praise and glory to our REDEEMER, THE KING OF KINGS, THE LORD OF LORDS, OUR PRECIOUS SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!     WE’RE BACK!

    Hey Reckless to Redeemed fam we are finally back and have missed you all so much! These past 8 months have been full of ups and downs but one thing we know for sure is God always remains faithful to us. He will always walk by our side no matter if we are on top of the mountain or walking in a dark valley. We are excited to share with you everything that has been going on in our lives these past few months but most importantly share HOW GREAT OUR GOD IS!

    Saved by Grace through Faith

    The best gift you could ever receive while walking this earth is the gift of salvation to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father! God freely offers it to us by having faith in the one He sent to die for humanity. His son Jesus! There is nothing we can do to earn it and nothing we can do to lose it. If you haven’t already, you need to open your heart and receive it because only through Jesus Christ can we have eternal life and walk confidently into our God given purpose! “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭ If you need prayers, have questions, desire to share your testimony, or just need a friend!     Fearfully & Wonderfully Made

    We’ve all struggled with body image in some sort of way but it’s time to change our perspective. Take a moment and imagine the way your Heavenly Father looks at you. He sees you as His beautiful creation and cherishes you beyond human comprehension. We need to learn to honor God’s beautiful creation and stop putting ourselves down. We can always strive to take better care of ourselves but while we’re walking on that journey of making better choices, we need to be content in where we’re at and seek God’s guidance to help us through it by thanking Him for creating us fearfully and wonderfully made!
