Their projects focus on a range of humanitarian and environmental initiatives, including a multi-national deworming campaign; a network of orphanages and safe havens in developing countries; LGBTQ rights advocacy; the Equality House; and rainforest conservation efforts in the Amazon.   Planting Peace has successfully dewormed over 22 million starving children around the world. Planting Peace has been able to create and sustain a total of 6 orphanages. Four in Haiti and two in India. Planting Peace has rescued 5 elephants from slavery. 599. Comedian Jeff Allen’s latest book, “Are We There Yet” shares inspirational and at times laugh-out-loud stories how God rescued him from alcoholism and despair through the book of Ecclesiastes.

Comedian, Actor, & Author Jeff Allen prays every time he goes on stage,  “Lord, let Your light shine through. Let them see not the darkness in me, but the light in You.” On his new tour, Are We There Yet? His hilarious comedy drives home the humor in everyday family life, the ups and downs of marriage, the challenge of raising children and the joys of being a grandparent.  In His latest book, “Are We There Yet? Jeff shares in his signature style of stand-up comedy bits, the inspirational and at times laugh-out-loud story of how God rescued him from alcoholism and despair through the book of Ecclesiastes. Jeff fell into substance abuse at an early age, and his problems didn’t magically go away when he got married. In fact, with the arrival of two children, they intensified. The sense that his life was meaningless made his family life as dark and biting as his comedy. But in his darkest moment, an unlikely encounter with the gloomiest book of the Bible set him on the path to salvation. The opening line of Ecclesiastes— “Meaningless, meaningless, all in life is meaningless”—resonated with him. So he kept reading, and soon he discovered the Source of meaning. Eventually, Allen found himself with a revitalized marriage and a repurposed career. If you have struggled to find meaning in your life, this book is for you. “Are we there yet?” Order at Amazon.com jeffallencomedy.com
