WELL, Is It Fear or Is It Tension? - BONUS - A mini mom moment about presence

WELL, Is It Fear or Is It Tension? - BONUS - A mini mom moment about presence

WELL, is it fear or tension? I recently learned that there’s a huge difference between fear and tension. One of these things causes us illness, discontent, anxiety and is truly unhealthy. One of them pushes us to new heights and is something that stretches and grows us. I bet you can guess which is which. Fear is just plain icky, folks! It gives off an energy that our kids pick up on and it keeps us stuck. Tension however, is NECESSARY!!! It was pretty mind blowing to me to fully realize this and it can be so easy to want our problems to just go away. But guess what? There’s always going to be something!!! There will not be a time in any of our earthly lives where things are just perfect and all our issues have been resolved. We will always have TENSION. When we allow it to kick us into fear, we’re not being present. We’re reliving our pasts or projecting what the future of this current tension will look like. And guess what – if you say that “one day” you will have peace…one day never gets here. The only moment with have is the one we are in and one day is code for never.

Emotional WELLth - Episode 20 - inner critic work & self worth building

Emotional WELLth - Episode 20 - inner critic work & self worth building

PLEASE visit Mazi's website at cultivateatlanta.com where you can find 3 FREE downloadable guides for your emotional wealth and health. Also follow her @cultivateatlanta on Instagram and facebook!!! :)

When you hear the word wealth, what do you think? Having everything you need, when you need it? Being able to give more? Extravagance? More than enough? Those are some descriptors that come to mind for me. And when you think about it, we can be wealthy in so many more ways than financial. We can be wealthy in our relationships, in our experiences and like today’s episode is going to cover, we can be emotionally wealthy too! However, I believe that Emotional wealth is something that has to spring from within us as opposed to being given to or bestowed upon us. We have to be deliberate and we have to TAKE it.

WELL Aware - Episode 19 - an episode on ending child slavery, with Operation Underground Railroad

WELL Aware - Episode 19 - an episode on ending child slavery, with Operation Underground Railroad

Since being founded in December 2013, OUR has gathered the world's experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.'s Underground Jump Team consists of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world.
Once victims are rescued, a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery and rehabilitation for the survivors begins.

The purpose of this episode is to ensure that we, as every day moms and dads in our home towns and communities, know how to be aware of warning signs, aid in prevention and ultimately HELP Operation Underground Railroad.
