This episode highlights the importance of taking a good look at ourselves and our perception of who we are in the Hmong and American community. Most times, it's just a feeling, but can you explain it? Put it into words? Are you living by other people's standards? Are you being true to yourself? Are you taking control of yourself or are you letting others influence you?
Everyone's Hmong experience is different. I share my experience as an example of how I came to be where I am today.
