McKenna has a strong passion for becoming a music artist and writing, journaling, and music led her to become an advocate for mental wellness. The challenges she faced helped her incredibly. She was severely bullied for most of her school experience and, coupled with dealing with mental illness, was really hard. One of her previous singles, "Bad One" is actually about the bullying that she dealt with for years.

She overcame her challenges by focusing on work, school, bettering herself, and reaching her goals, instead of focusing on what other people were saying to her. She's a student at Atlantic Acting school at NYU Tisch. In between classes, she posts on social media, writes song lyrics, records self-tapes, and works on 100 other projects.
