AGAPE Love ἀγάπη
In this episode you will discover a type of love that is so much more than all the others!
AGAPE (pronounced: Uh-GAH-pay) is God’s love for humankind - perfect, unconditional, sacrificial, pure, selfless and heroic. It is not about feelings but about actions. We are called to love like that too.
The Bible Verses in this episode:
JOHN 3:16 “God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die.
MATTHEW 22:36-39, “Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself.” All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments.”

PHILIPPIANS: Jesus' Humble Birth

Here are the bible verses quoted in today's episode:Bible Passage: Philippians 2:5-11
Christ was truly God.
But he did not try to remain equal with God.
Instead he gave up everything and became a slave,
when he became like one of us.
Christ was humble.
He obeyed God and even died on a cross.
Then God gave Christ the highest place
and honored his name above all others.
So at the name of Jesus everyone will bow down,
those in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
And to the glory of God the Father
everyone will openly agree, “Jesus Christ is Lord!”
Today's Questions:
How has today’s episode changed the way you see the nativity story of Jesus’ birth?
Does Jesus’ humility, when he gave up his high position in heaven, spur you on to be more humble and how?
