Online Learning and Returning to School after Lockdown: Lessons to be learnt from China

Online Learning and Returning to School after Lockdown: Lessons to be learnt from China

Schools in China closed in January after Chinese New Year. Chinese schools and international schools in China then adopted online learning to ensure a continuity of educational provision. Schools adapted quickly to unprecedented circumstances and in most cases switched seamlessly to online learning models, making use of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ClassIn and the alike. Across most of China schools reopened at the end of March, and gradually reintegrated students back into school. I have had the most amazing journey full of joys and a plethora of wonderful experiences. I've also faced many challenges and frustrations, so one must seriously consider the pros and cons of making the move into the international arena.
