TATIANA CALDERÓN is a woman who breaks the mould. At the age of just nine, she found her passion in the world of motorsport and decided to adopt it as her lifestyle and pursue a professional career as a racing driver.

Moving from her native Colombia to Europe in order to race her way up through the single-seater ladder with the dream of reaching the pinnacle of motorsport, Tatiana raced in the F1 support GP3 Series from 2016 to 2018, becoming the most successful woman in the history of the championship.

In 2018 Tatiana came closer to reaching her dream, as she was promoted as Alfa Romeo Formula 1 Test Driver– combining her appearances in the F1 paddock with her racing programme in the GP3 Series.

In October 2018, the Colombian driver sat behind the wheel of a contemporary Formula One car at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, for the first time in her career. She quickly adapted to the demands of driving at the highest level in motorsport and demonstrated her focus and skills, impressing the team with her professionalism and dedication.

She became the first Latin American female driver ever to drive a Formula One car, setting a milestone in female presence at the pinnacle of motorsport.

In 2019 she moved one step closer to F1 and competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, where she became the first woman to enter this ultra-competitive series.

In 2021 Tatiana faced new challenges, embarking on an endurance series for the first time, together with the luxury watches brand Richard Mille and the super competitive team Signatech, entering the European Le Mans Series and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Besides that, Tatiana continued her single/seater career, racing in the Japanese Super Formula.

Bobbi founded Bobbi Brown Cosmetics with her husband, Steven D. Plofker, in 1991 because she was sick of red lipstick. Bobbi created 10 simple lip colors that evolved into a global beauty empire when the brand was acquired by The Estée Lauder Companies in 1995, placing Bobbi as the Chief Creative Officer of a rapidly growing, billion-dollar brand.

Bobbi is the Beauty & Lifestyle Editor of Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, hosts iHeartMedia's Beyond the Beauty with Bobbi Brown, which is part of iHeartMedia, Inc., and continues to work editorially. She has received the "Glamour Woman of the Year Award," "The Fashion Group International Night of Stars Beauty Award," and "The Jackie Robinson Foundation’s ROBIE Humanitarian Award," to name a few.

She was appointed by President Obama to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiation and has been inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame. As an authoritative voice in the beauty and wellness space, Bobbi can give perspectives on anything entrepreneurship, breaking down product ideation, trend analysis,  today's global luxury market, and more.

In this episode of the Women of Inspiration™ Podcast, we speak with Ashley Ottensen - Actor, Tik Tok (IG) Influencer (1.2 million), and Two-time best actress recipient for her role as Becca in " A Love Not Lost " (Indie short film written by John Anthony), Women of Inspiration Finalist.

Mom, wife, and actor. I enjoy making stories that help people feel something. My social media is focused on comedy as I believe everyone should have a smile at least once a day. A born hustler, mother, and entertainer, I see the odds and strive to beat them. The word "No" is a driving force rather than a word that gets me down. If one door closes I always look for the next one to open or simply create my own door.

Never say never because the impossible is happening every day. The life of an unknown actor is a tough one. You're constantly working to get seen. Imagine a career where interviewing is the job. That is what auditioning is. Many actors, including your favorites, have spent years grinding to get to where they are. Before COVID my career looked promising, I was receiving bigger and bigger audition opportunities, and I was booking them. Theater, film, commercials, I had contracts with all of them, and then COVID struck and every single contract fell through and was canceled. It was very disheartening; I'd worked so hard to build myself up only to have something I couldn't control come and knock it all down. 

That was until my sister told me about TikTok. At first, I was hesitant because at the time I thought TikTok was only for weird dances and lip syncing but eventually, the cabin fever set in, covid wasn't going away anytime soon, and I desperately needed a creative outlet. So I started lipsyncing until the thought occurred to me, why am I repeating someone else's performance, if I'm going to be a content creator then I want what I create to come from me. 

So I began writing and making my own skits. They've evolved over time as I became more confident in my abilities. I've made friends who collaborated with me and it started to feel a little bit like being a working actor again. With time and consistency my following on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube grew exponentially and with it has come opportunities for more acting work and to no longer be considered an unknown actor. This entire experience has taught me that through hard work, consistency, and an unfailing belief in oneself you can accomplish anything you've set your mind to. Everyone's path is different and comparison is the thief of joy, a success story is meant for everyone. 

Never give up, don't let yourself or the nay-sayers get in your way, and break that glass ceiling.
