Outside a café in Paris amidst protests, strikes and riots against the government of Emmanuel Macron, Mark Redfern spoke Axel Persson, a train driver and trade unionists with the CGT.



Their conversation, which took place on the eve of a mass protest in the city, covers everything from organising in the fast food industry, whether there is a uniquely French attitude to social revolt and the nature of the working class struggle in France today.
