Covid moment with Crystal on, 26th November, 2021
Mr. Mugisha is a teacher. Before the last COVID-19 wave, he returned to teaching when schools opened for candidate classes.
Immediately after closure of schools, he felt general body weakness and later developed dry couch, a sore throat, chest pain and high body temperature. He was rushed to the nearest health facility and the health workers offered supportive treatment as they took his sample for COVID-19 testing.
It was found that he was infected with COVID-19 and in further examination, the health workers also found that Mugisha was also diabetic. Mr. Mugisha was admitted in the COVID-19 management unit for 10 days. While admitted at the health facility, his conditions worsened, and he got difficulty in breathing, but he was put on oxygen, and he fully recovered. -
