Inspiring and psychologically interesting

So many pods are about the psychology of murderers and it’s so refreshing to listen to a series about the psychology of an extreme peace worker. Patch and his son are hilarious, smart and surprising. Fascinating, inspiring, funny and heartfelt. It’s amazing to hear the off-script Patch. Renews my hope in humans. Also, he’s an outlier weirdo, which is great and inspires my own inner weirdo to shine.

Doctors and clowns

Maybe Patch Adams should’ve practiced medicine surrounded by clowns making it comfortable environment for those that needed medical treatment. It’s been a lot of years and still no hospital in West Virginia. Maybe that should’ve been the first building to be built no matter how small. And you would think patch should’ve been a practicing physician, if he is board-certified and spent all those years studying. Maybe he could be a physician and a clown. Donations for a hospital sounds like a worthy cause, but it’s been many many years and it doesn’t seem close. Who supports patch and son? The donations? Even a small clinic for mental health or walk in clinic would be better than nothing. I enjoyed the movie with Robin Williams, although the movie industry didn’t give him much Financial support. Looking back now, I wonder why.

A very helpful and beautiful podcast

I’m enjoying the podcast so very much. I think it’s a super important one for right now with its emphasis on mental health. I love learning more about Patch Adams through conversations with his son. Thank you for doing it.
