Look At What You’ve Done is the brand new podcast from Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Award winner, Jordan Brookes. Jordan interview some of the best comedians in the country about their entire lives, right from their birth and all the way to their death!

What starts as a traditional podcast chat quickly descends into madness and switches from fact to surreal fiction as Jordan grills his guest’s about everything in their life, including the parts that haven’t happened yet. Listen as some of the country’s favourite comedy names talk about their own completely fictionalised futures right the way up their death.

Think ‘This is Your Life’, but at least half of it is made up by Jordan.

Intimate, enlightening and laugh out loud funny. Jordan's guests include Rosie Jones, Marcus Brigstocke, Fern Brady, Rachel Parris, Maisie Adam, Jamali Maddix, Nick Helm, Desiree Burch, Darren Harriott and Lucy Beaumont.

    Lucy Beaumont

    Lucy Beaumont

This week my guest is Lucy Beaumont, a stand-up, actor and writer who first came to people’s attention when she won the BBC New Comedy Award. Since then she’s appeared on all sorts of tv shows, most notably Meet The Richardsons, a hugely popular sort-of reality show about life with husband and fellow comic Jon Richardson. In this episode we talk about her one-time teenage regret, her refusal to be added to her university’s hall of fame, and the almost-but-not-quite-collapse of her marriage.

    Darren Harriott

    Darren Harriott

My guest this time is Darren Harriott. His TV credits are vast and they include Live At The Apollo, The Last Leg, and recently on British As Folk on Dave. He was also nominated for the Edinburgh comedy award the same year I won it, and I’m terrible so, that’s gotta sting. In this we talked about being overfed by his mum, starting a street gang, and a catastrophic social faux pas in Japan.

    Desiree Burch

    Desiree Burch

This week my guest is Desiree Burch. She’s a US born comic who came to the UK and won the Funny Women award in 2015. Since then, she’s been all over the telly, appearing on the likes of The Mash Report, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, and 8 Out of 10 Cats. In this episode we talk about her horror-film fuelled upbringing, what she’s learned about life and love, and her resultant disastrous attempt to monetise that wisdom.

    Nick Helm

    Nick Helm

This week I talk to Nick Helm, whose brash and unpredictable performances saw him quickly rise from the open mic circuit to industry favourite. Since then he’s starred in TV shows like Loaded and Uncle, won numerous awards and even released a few albums. In this episode we talk about his early experiences of living with a mysterious door in the house, his wise thoughts on comedy, and the fatal consequences of doing too many live shows year after year.

    Jamali Maddix

    Jamali Maddix

This week I’m joined by Jamali Maddix, who you will have seen on all sorts of stuff including Taskmaster, Hypothetical, the reboot of Never Mind The Buzzcocks and the hugely acclaimed Hate Thy Neighbour. In this we talk about his early life as precociously hairy teen, finding his purpose in life, and the ultimately fatal idolising of his favourite comedians.

    Maisie Adam

    Maisie Adam

This week I chat to Maisie Adam, who’s quickly become a firm favourite on shows like Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, and probably some others too. She’s one of those rare comics who other comics see doing well and feel genuinely pleased for.
In this episode, we talk about her early struggles with unrequited love, her annoyingly hot brother, and her operatically complicated marriage in later years.

Deep, Dark and Delightful.

You’re promised reviews with celebrities from “birth to death” and you get exactly what’s on offer. Like a darker, drier version of Fawlty Towers this podcast eases its way from realism to full on farce before you know what hit you. Personally, I have Jordan’s sense of humour but I still care too much about people liking me. Thus my darkest side has to content itself by living vicariously through him and his podcast. Please subscribe and make the worst version of me (AKA the real one) feel less alone.
