May 21 is the Idaho primary, and with early voting continuing through this Friday — have you made your plan to vote? While some high profile elections may be getting lots of coverage, local elections — including those for the three-person Ada County commission — have much more of an impact on our day-to-day lives. Today on City Cast Boise, host Lindsay Van Allen and executive producer Frankie Barnhill are breaking down two county commissioner races with big implications for our community.

There’s nothing worse than being in a rush and heading into a road that’s closed for construction, and right now there are multiple road closures around downtown Boise! So who’s to blame, and when will roads be back to normal? We’re finding out what’s happening with Idaho Statesman reporter Nick Rosenberger — who shares some tips for how you can avoid some of these construction headaches.
