Over its six-year run and in the eight years since the last episode aired, the wholesome family show has been a mashup of drug abuse, disappearance and death, leading fans to speculate that the show is "cursed". Join Aimee and Nathan as they get ready for regionals and discuss whether the cast of Glee is really cursed, or whether its just a coincidence.

We kick off season 2 by diving into a Shamanistic curse placed on the highest office of the home of the braved the land of the free, and the birthplace of the humble cheeseburger. It’s been known by many names, Tecumseh’s Curse, the Curse of Tippecanoe, the Zero-Year Curse, the Twenty-Year Curse. No matter what you call it, the legend remains.

This legend tells that every president elected in a year ending in zero – from William Henry Harrison to John F. Kennedy was destined to die in bizarre, untimely and often tragic ways.

This week, Aimee and Nathan talk about a warlord and nobleman who controlled a vast swath of Asia during the 14th century. Timur (aka Tamerlane) was renowned as a military tactician whose warfare killed some 17 million people.

Fast forward 400 years, when Joseph Stalin commissioned a team to exhume Timur’s body and bring it back to the Soviet Union. Just two days after the opening of the Timur’s tomb, Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union. Coincidence? Some say the exhumation set in motion a prophecy that would change the course of history.

WE'RE BACK!  This week we close the book on our last episode about The Crow, and discuss the Lee Family Curse while also making some time to theorise who or what may be responsible for our own recent wave of bad luck (not naming names, Robert the doll).  

The Lee Family Curse is the legend of an ancient Chinese curse some believe was responsible for the untimely deaths of Brandon Lee and his infamous father, martial arts legend Bruce Lee.  It has been said that Bruce’s family were deeply superstitious, and believed an evil spirit was following them and targeting their children. Join us as we discuss nepo babies, fortune cookies and dank pits, while trying to figure out if Bruce and Brandon were really cursed, or if it was all just a coincidence.
