This week I had the great pleasure of sitting with my friend Joshua Austin. I met Josh in my very early days of training at SGC. Where he was the resident purple belt. Josh has been on and off jiu jitsu most his adult life. He is an electrician and his other passion is playing guitar in his band Black Headdress.

This week I was once again joined by Tyler Gerry. We recapped the last month as I prepared myself to compete for the 1st time. We went over how the competition played out and how I managed to Finnish on the podium my first competing!!
