Great group of “Guys and Gals”

I came across Rinella when I overheard a small group of employees at a Barnes n Nobel jaw jacking about the unusual titles to “the Complete Guide to Hunting, Butchering and Cooking Wild Game (Small Game and Fowl) edition. The employees were making fun of a guy who came in and ordered this book.
I grew up going on hunts with my older brother, but never hunted myself. Never considered myself against hunting either. Just never had the interest. I asked one of the employees to order me both copies and the rest awkwardly scattered and went back to work. The kid told me they’d be in the store in a few days. Thought it’d be a cool gift for my big bro. After the volumes arrived I started flipping through some pages with a gal I was seeing at the time and her interest really got me thinking. I gotta hang on to these. I took my hunting and safety class with a friends son and we got our certs together. Our first hunt was a deer hunt at a friends farm in Pennsylvania. A few guys tagged out and I sat with a guy who shot a doe with his bow. I was instantly hooked. And all because of a few anti hunters at a book store. Rinella and Janis have a way of telling a story that’ll grip you up like a 1990’s Philadelphia school teacher. You immediately pay attention and say yes sir after every statement. Give a listen and make sure you check out Episode 008 and 042. All episodes are great. But these will make you laugh for days and respect the bear woods. Enjoy

Don’t change a thing

This podcast is wonderful. The conversation so often flow the way it might among a group of friend bullshitting with each other. I think the interruptions, self-congratulatory segues, and general mayhem that invade and interweave with the conversation are what make this so special.

Amazing podcast but Great disapproves!

How dare you Steve! How dare you steal Greta Thunbergs hopes and dreams! You should be supporting corporate agriculture and eating bugs to save the world!
