Not a Freeloader

Amazing podcast in a time when we need a vessel to educate in the world of conservation the most. Listen and rate 5-stars, and take action, or you’re a freeloader.

It Shall Be Delicious - Review

Really enjoyed the live podcast (with audiences). Writing on phone so keeping it short in light, response of Steve’s liking of and commenting on good writing.

Two statements:

- freezing and thawing meat - cooling meat first in the frig helps with preserving the quality of the meat as it leads to consistent freezing, as opposed to freezing from the outside in. I.E. freezing warm meat the outside freezes first and travels inside damaging the interior. Look up Kenji Lopez “Food Lab” my other therapist next the Steve and Janice. Ha ha

- second - live in Kentucky (small game heaven) and definitely watched a police officer try to put down a road hit deer. As we were passing in the car. Saw movie theater quality dirt explosion jumping up around the deers head, as the officer let loose on his 9 and continued to miss the deers head over and over . . . And over and over again. Of course it would have help if he was 12 feet away.

Meateater is simply the best

In my opinion, the best podcast out there in regard to hunting, fishing, natural resource use, ethics, food, and conservation. Rinella and his crew should be proud
