Drives me crazy....
This is great: very informational. However, it gets confusing because these guys don't know how to properly pronounce the names of many people and things. Here are a few:
Delphi: DELL-FEE; not DELLF-EYE
Gaea: GUY-AH; not G-UH
Hera: HAIR-UH; not HERE-UH
Oceanus: O-SHION-US; not O-C-ION-US
Aegis: AY-GUS; not AY-JUS
maybe because they're British.... Too bad. LEARN YOUR NAMES, PEOPLE!
Nice!
Great podcasts- I just wish they were a little longer. There needs to be more mythology podcasts out there like this! :)
Good overview
Brief but packed with info. Even those already familiar with Greek myth will learn from this podcast. The "mispronunciations" are simply British pronunciations.
