the selectbutton podcast is half rollicking argument about videogames, half self-absorbed inanity.
It's a lot like those movies where the kids are playing a cool videogame, and then they get sucked into the videogame, but now when they die in the game
... THEY DIE FOR REAL.

Montage
What can we say? Temporal friction used to our advantage, and we'll survive. Is there something strange going on? Best not to worry about it!

A More Mario 64-Like Mario
Why not more Mario 64-like Mario for Selectbutton Podcast? Only Charles knows. Enjoy the Super Mario 64 episode!

Episode #87: Holiday Deathcast VII: End of the Road
Werewolves, creamed corn, sorted shrimp. The death of 2018...the cast of our lives.

Episode #86: Chef’s Special Platter (High Rank)
select button dot net is proud to present a two-part Monster Hunter extravaganza.
In the High Rank episode, we stay focused a bit more and cover the larger omissions from the earlier episode: monsters at large, hunt dynamics, the grind loop, locales, and more… (Use a fancy-pants podcast app, and you'll get to enjoy chapter navigation and an array of relevant screenshots throughout this episode.)
Customer Reviews
Good podcasty cast
A bunch of jokers joking around, mostly about video games
Can't recommend
Overly cynical, unprofessional. Lots of hyperbole & swearing. A bit of misinformation.
In the latest episode they unanimously agree that Mario 64 is a bad game. Get real lol
My favorite videogame podcast.
This is a Skype (or maybe Ventrillo?) podcast with This American Life-style music cues and a rotating cast of unpretentious, anonymous people with great insight into what makes games tick. While it updates infrequently, it's obviously a labor of love and I'm excited whenever it shows up in my podcast updates.
