❤️the stories, not the narration
I really enjoy the stories, but the accent seems fake and at times stumbling. So much so the it becomes quite distracting.
Focus on Content, Not Fake Accents
Less is usually more and in the case of our dear
narrator's accent, a lot less would serve this podcast better. As a framing device, this hammed up English accent would be fine. Something like an introduction to a dramatic reenactment of crimes as seen in podcasts like Hollywood and Crime or Secret Crimes and Audiotapes. Even the Night Time Podcast uses a corny accent to introduce the show, but leaves it there. I just don't see how the podcast is better served with the accent and I hope they drop it and let the interesting crimes speak for themselves.
A new favorite!
I just love this. I only wish they came out more often, but I think each episode must take a while to research and write. Worth it!
