Great info
Have learned a great deal and really enjoyed the podcast. Been binge listening to episode after episode while remodeling a place just purchased in Florida in addition to my driving trips back and forth to the Midwest. Unintentional consequence of listing to so many episodes has been being able to absorb valuable information realizing there are sone common themes in them emphasizing how important they are. Being an avid Great Lakes and freshwater fisherman and boater my entire life am grateful to have gained this information in interesting presentation. Have a kayak here in Florida now and cant wait to get my center console to Venice this winter and start putting the info to practice. Keep up the good work Tanner and Captain Tim! Thanks for shortening my learning curve!
Enjoy the show
Appreciate the episodes. One request… a lot of what you talk about is new to me. I’d like specific details on equipment, setups, and recipes. Your show on scallops and lobsters was informative, but more specifics on equipment and techniques would be MUCH appreciated! Keep up the good work!
Entertaining and genuine local fishing show
My sons and I have really enjoyed listening to just about every Fishcasting episode over the few years it’s been around. We regularly fish inshore and nearshore waters around Miami for fun and were getting rather bored of frequenting our usual spots. Tanner’s entertaining reports where he discusses different varieties of fish, techniques and fishing spots, has really expanded our ‘game’. It’s nice that he appreciates not just the ‘glamor’ big game species, but also talks about inshore fishing for easier to catch fish. There is so much fishing media out there that is all about making money- selling boats, clothes and lures - that it’s refreshing to hear a local show from guys that are truly passionate about the sport and generous to share their knowledge with the rest of us regular guys. Thanks for producing this great pod and we’re looking forward to enjoying more in the future! - The Ryan’s
