Episode 266: The One About Dennis Lamp

Episode 266: The One About Dennis Lamp

OK, this is probably the wildest episode of the current era. Mike, Jon, and Samuel start the episode talking about basketball, as one does on a fantasy baseball podcast. Then they pivot to their actual discussion, which is about current trends in the game that were unexpected and how that apply fantasy wise. It goes off the rails shortly after as the lads go into a discussion about journeyman reliever Dennis Lamp. No, we're not kidding. It's a lot of fun though.

Episode 264: You'll Never Dad Alone (Plus Some Baseball Stuff)

Look y'all, we won't lie to you. After our skipped start last week we're still feeling some wear and tear on our various joints and ligaments. So this week's program is more junkball than fastball but it does have some fun stuff to it. Mike, Jon, and Samuel talk a big milestone for a child, then dive into some big picture concerns as the fantasy season charges into June. Plus Mike quotes Bob Dylan. Again.

Episode 263: Injuries, Prospects, Expansions, and Neil Young

If you're looking for a heater episode, this is probably it. Mike, Jon, and Samuel have a lot to say this week. They start with the recent rash of injuries(aka all of 2021), before moving onto prospect call ups and how to handle those, and finish with an extended conversation about why expansion sounds like a better idea than it is. Also Rob Manfred catches strays as does Neil Young.

    Episode 261: Normalcy and Questions

Another week, another podcast. On the show this week Mike, Jon, and Samuel talk a return to normalcy both baseball and in life with the rising numbers of vaccinations. Then after that, it's your questions! They talk trading strategies early in the season, surprising hitters, and almost get into a brawl over coffee. It's a lot of fun, we promise.

Look, I’m a big fan of the pod and even gave a 5 star before this comment; can we please leave race and likely politics out of these pods please? I get that our current environment has such topics on the front of our mind and the tip of the tongue but please leave it out of this outlet. We all have our political views; please leave it out of the pod. That said, minus that, love the pod and you guys do great work. Thanks

Intellectually Challenged Podcast

Classic example of good writers lacking intellect; the conversation is substandard and every podcast seems to devolve into political moaning or other ignorant, random banter usually around the Texas Rangers & Phillies. George Bissell leaving really hurt its content. Avoid like the plague.

I’ll resubscribe when they start talking about fantasy baseball and not Covid

I’ll miss their fantasy baseball insights.
