Entertaining enough but they need to broaden their horizons a bit. They benefit from being on the BD podcast feed but they’re just not as knowledgeable about the genre as shows like Exploding Heads ( plus they’re funny) 22 Shots of Moodz and Horror and Jay of the Dead’s shows.

This is my favorite horror movie podcast. Trace and Joe not only have great chemistry, but they both genuinely love and respect the genre. It’s infectious. They’ve turned me onto so many great movies I never would’ve considered watching. And their Patreon is hella worth it.

I love this show! I love the way Joe and Trace banter and they have great guests. I always look forward to new episodes.

While the queer perspective is obviously a large, important, and appreciated aspect of this podcast, I think it’s important to note that Joe and Trace are just doing the best work in horror movie podcasting. I’ve enjoyed the pod from early days but they’ve really grown over the years- as podcasters and critics alike. The past six months to a year was a particular high bar for them, and I can’t wait to see where they go next. I also like that in general even when I don’t agree with their critiques, they’re very open to other reads and thoughts and admissions that maybe their take isn’t great. Entertaining, thoughtful, and doing the work.

There are many like it, but this is one of the best and most insightful dissections of queer-lens horror. Delightful any time of day or night.

I've loved listening to so many episodes of this podcast! I am old enough that I saw a lot of the 80s slashers when they were in the theaters, so it's fun to hear younger guys' takes. Both hosts are well-spoken and witty. If I must criticize anything, they should consider verifying the pronunciation of names.

Show is pretty good. I only listen to a small percent of their episodes now because they do so many uninteresting movies and the majority of their posts are patreon clips. Main complaint is the guy who is constantly saying “mmmmmm hmmm” in a condescending tone when the others make a point. Have a new go-to. It’s SO obnoxious.

So glad I found this! I was on a search for a horror podcast that was fun, had good chemistry, covered a lot of content , was honest but not negative or seemed to not want to be doing it, and this is it! Subscribed to the patreon because I blew through the free content, such a great duo!
