Good broadcast. Too wiling to blame men for everything that goes wrong in a marriage, family, etc.

Have reviewed the show in the past. Garry Chapman has a strong tendency to blame men for everything that’s wrong in the marriage. That aside there is a lot of good information in these broadcasts. Listened to Garry Smalley’s Love Languages episode this morning. Great stuff which I use frequently in counseling married couples. Strongly disagree with the idea that someone’s personal character flaws should be overlooked or left uncorrected. This holds especially true if those character flaws lead to injury to a child. In this episode Dr. Smalley’s wife’s refusal to close doors and drawers leads to a toddler’s injury and stitches. She continues to refuse to correct her actions. Dr. Smalley indicates he decides to accept that and move on. I suggest this is neglect and may even be abuse. If a man were responsible for this, he would be publicly thronged and may have child services called. Because it’s a woman it’s acceptable? I say no. Nor should it be. Once again, Focus leadership shows its innate bias.
