Fortitude
Everyone has a story of Fortitude! When we tell our stories of pain in adversity - stories of courage, redemption and hope - we give others permission to speak up and get the help they need. Each episode will give the listener a look inside what overcoming adversity looks like no matter what life throws at you. Each story is uniquely different - stories of alcoholism/addiction, infidelity, rape, abuse, loss of a child/children, cancer, rare disease, tragic accidents...etc.! We are in this life together to support one another and build community around hope and redemption. I am your host, Heather Kittelson, and I am so excited to have you here as part of the Fortitude community!
Real Life and Real Faith

Heather and Amos give real people a platform to share their stories of trials, tragedies, and battles, and how they learned from them, overcame them and grew from them through the power of their Faith, God’s love, as well the communities they surrounded themselves with. Fortitude gives these people a platform so listeners can relate with their own personal stories and empower them to be motivated in sharing their own experiences so others can know they’re not alone and they too can find victory through Faith, God’s love, and Community.

I have been listening to this podcast since it launched! One of the greatest things you will discover in tuning in, is the love, kindness & empathy from the hosts and the openness of the guest to share their hearts! You will get answers to questions you have wanted to ask someone, but didn’t know how or were too afraid to ask! You will hear struggles and challenges that have grace and truth! You will hear about overcoming, growth and transformation. Listening in will change your heart! Tuning in will allow you to see others through a different lens! You will change because you decided to listen and seek understanding!

The hosts of the show ask such compelling, beautiful questions that get to the root of compelling and inspiring stories that truly motivate you to move forward in your daily life. There are such meaningful aha moments in the wisdom they share and I felt an internal shift and a quote I will carry with me daily during my own feature on the show - “Hurt People Hurt People.” It’s important to remember that everyone has a story!
