It’s like listening to a friend

This podcaster cracks me up!! Her voice is nice. It’s like listening to a close friend (on speaker phone) who is telling a story. She’s talking nonstop except for when she takes a bite of toast or another sip of coffee. She doesn’t have good souls equipment and she’s very laidback in the way she presents the facts & her own opinions. If you like the podcast, think of her as a girlfriend who is rambling on while drinking her coffee Lol

Just listened to the first episode. I like the narrator who seems to have good knowledge of the case. Just a few things: Tammy Lee was not with the FBI, she was CBI (CO Bureau of Investigation). And it sounds like the narrator is eating while talking…maybe drinking. Not very good audio…maybe it will get better as well as editing out some noises (putting down your drink, a motorcycle?) will improve as the episodes progress. You have to provide correct info for credibility. Also, Shannan’s neck surgery wasn’t due to a car accident. She had problems with discs in her neck. The police did call Chris in the middle of the night for physical descriptions as they were putting out a missing endangered persons report (as opposed to the BOLO) & a press release at 7am on Tues Aug 14. I do like the narrator’s voice & she doesn’t say "like" every other word thank god. Just listened to the "Anniversary Episode". Don’t bother. Around 10:49 mark, there’s silence then you have to turn up the volume because the narrator is then at a restaurant with a friend who is an investigator. She doesn’t even talk about the case until halfway through (she talks initially about doing A RAFFLE FOR PEOPLE TO GUESS WHY CHRIS DID IT (OMG) - the prize is podcast merch.) Horrible audio as they’re eating in a restaurant- background noises etc. One of her friend’s even has to ask her to repeat a question. So after the commercials & other ramblings, they talk about the case (nothing new- just their opinions) & are all over the place. I love it when people who are not licensed to diagnose someone with a mental illness tries to. I shut it off.

Yes she drinks coffee or something throughout the podcast. And yes I wish she would not. BUT she has a pleasant voice and is very thorough and fair. I have misophonia so if I can get past that anyone can. And I can. This case is so fascinating and perplexing and I have watched everything I can on it. True sociopath. So I appreciate this lady’s efforts and it is sort of nice that she is casual about what she is doing. It is not heavily curated or produced but it is honest and covers every detail of this case. So thanks for making this podcast. I know it took a lot of time and effort.
Great details!! The host is very interesting.

I really miss this podcast! I wish the host would do other cases. I thought I had heard every detail of this case, but recently I learned that Nichol Kessinger texted Chris to send her a picture proving he was at Cervi 319 that morning (where the bodies were eventually discovered) — What?? I don’t think that detail was ever discussed in this podcast unless I missed it, but it’s crazy that Nichol could be more involved and they immediately protected her. So diabolical & intriguing. 🫣
