The American Dream with Elias Torres

Elias Torres is one of those leaders that I admire deeply and profoundly because I am Latinx. However, I can see without a doubt that his impact on communities is transcendental, and for this reason, I was so excited to see that he launched the American Dream podcast. The first episode was nothing if not hard-hitting, impactful, and brilliant because it focused on the human element of rising above challenges and striving to create greater. In this first episode, Elias sets the stage by sharing honestly and vulnerably about his personal journey. Immediately, I was hooked because it felt as if I was right there listening and being an active participant in the conversation. The hallmark of an excellent podcast to me is one in which the lessons shared can be applied to your life and help make you not only a better human being, but a better professional by helping you unlock your potential. In this podcast, you will hear amazing stories covering the impact you can have when you lean into your life and aim to make a difference. I cannot wait for the second episode and have already listened to it a few times. Tune in because the first episode has already transformed my perspective through engaging and compelling insights. A lot of these types of convos can end up being fluff and motivational speeches but the American Dream has spent a lot of time getting into the nitty gritty of being Latin in tech (and America). Found myself keenly listening to each episode back when it was a webcast and now especially that it’s a podcast. Definitely worth a listen.
