Free press sports with Carlos and Shawn
I would have given this podcast 5 stars if like most of the recent podcast just discussed the issues at hand. However, it gets annoying when Shawn and Carlos make sarcastic remarks about each other. When they get away from that shtick, and just discuss the topics they’re addressing, the podcast is interesting and thought provoking. Just cut out the unnecessary barbs.
As an out of the market Detroit sports fan, I’m hungry for content, but after a month of Carlos, I have had enough. The episode this week about NFL players wanting to wear pads was ridiculous. You don’t have to have played the sport to write/talk about it, but at least be open to the possibility that you don’t know everything and accept that you COULD be wrong. I will check back in a few months and see if Carlos has been replaced.
What more needs to be said? Lib vs. Righty trying to do sports. Our Detroit columnists are awful.
