John, John, John..
I’ve kept up with John for years. Almost back to the beginning of his career. He's always been a contrarian- to a fault. To the point where you think “Is he just disagreeing cause everyone else agrees?”. Ultimately, he’s a vey divisive guy, who occasionally makes you think. However, after a few listens, You either love him, hate him, or just think he’s ridiculously amusing.
I have concluded over the many years of keeping up with him- that he is basically a pro-bono defense attorney with no law degree, who loves going toe to toe with people. His ‘defense’ cases are highly controversial, which he loves all the more. In fact, the more controversial, the more likely he is to take on the task of being the contrarian defense attorney for whatever side he deems is ‘less understood’ (in his mind). I check on him every now and again, just so I can shake my head and have a chuckle 🤭
Sound problem on 5-12-2019 podcast.
Really enjoyed the interview with Adam Corolla.
Want to see the movie. I agree about the threat to free speech.
