From Being a Picky Eater as a Child to Becoming a Feeding Therapist

Therapy Unmasked Podcast
Aarone Cefalo is a licensed Occupational Therapist at Ability Innovations. As a child Aarone was a pretty picky eater, as he got older he decided to turn this struggle into a profession and help other children. He was first introduced to Feeding Therapy in OT school, once he graduated he was able to get a certification for Feeding Therapy. Today we were able to talk with Aarone about feeding therapy from a professional's stand point. He was able to share some examples of things he does at home with his children and in sessions to see the best results for his children. Additionally, Aarone listed a couple resources for parents, one of which being our own online course. This course allows parents to gain access to knowledge about occupational, speech, physical, and of course feeding therapy guidance and more in depth tactics to use in the home. Our course is currently on $19.99 a month and you gain access to all sorts of video content and a community of parents and therapists. For more content like this be sure to follow us!
