How do you cope when the only thing that defines your identity and is intrinsically linked to your self-worth is no longer available? You pivot. And that is exactly what Emily Tisch Sussman did.

Emily worked in Washington DC for over a decade as a top Democratic political strategist and then…she had kids. With three children, three and under, and no childcare in the middle of the pandemic, Emily reached her breaking point as she realized the end of her career as she knew it. On the brink of an identity crisis, Emily did the only thing she could think of: she reached out for advice and in turn ended up creating an award-winning podcast. On She Pivots, Emily talks with other women about their own pivots and how they found success after reinventing themselves during critical life turning points.

With a renewed sense of self-worth, Emily feels fulfilled in all aspects of her life and has even taken on a brand-new venture producing Broadway shows. You can catch the Tony Award-winning musical Shucked on Broadway.
