I used to move small and chose what felt “safe” instead of what I truly wanted. But then came a moment that forced me to confront my hesitation. I had a choice, to stay in my comfort zone or to step into something much bigger than I ever imagined. The fear was real. The doubts were loud. But what happened next changed everything. If you’ve ever found yourself hesitating, waiting for the “right” time, or questioning whether you’re truly ready, this episode is for you.     Releasing What Doesn’t Serve You

    Hey friend, hey! In this episode of From the Ground to the Crown Podcast, I, Kenisha B., introduce you to the segment Root and Rise, where we dig deep into a truth, a thought, or a question that has shaped our perspective and work our way to a higher, crown-level understanding. Here, I’m sharing a personal journey, one that started with a choice and led to a deeper lesson in discernment, intuition, and releasing what doesn’t serve me.  This episode’s Affirmation: DISCERNING:  “I use discernment and intuition to make the best choices.” I faced resistance from friends and family. They had a lot to say. Some out of concern, some out of judgment. It left me feeling confused for a moment, but then I realized that their words were just suggestions. I had the power to decide which ones to accept and which ones to let go of. That’s when I created my suggestion box– a space where I collect opinions, sit with them, and ultimately decide what aligns with me.  Through this experience, I learned: ✨Discernment is key—  not every judgment is personal, and not every opinion needs to be carried. ✨Intuition is our guide— it helps us separate what’s meant for us from what’s not. ✨Love can be hidden in critique— sometimes, even when people don’t understand our choices, their words come from a place of care.  If you’ve ever felt down by the opinions of others, this episode is for you.     The Freedom to Be Authentically You

    Hey friend, hey! Welcome to the official first episode of From the Ground to the Crown Podcast. This powerful episode is pulled straight from the Hey Friend Hey Affirmation Deck, and today’s affirmation is: FREE: “I am free to do, to think, to feel, and to simply to be.” Freedom isn’t just about circumstances, it’s a mindset, and that mindset is a choice. What would it feel like to just be? To stop shrinking, stop saying yes to things and people that don’t align with your soul. In this episode, I take you back to 2019, it’s my year of deep realization. I saw how much of myself I had been dimming just to maintain relationships that, truthfully, didn’t align with me. Being a Leo, I value my tribe and I used to be a possessive friend. I held onto people even when the energy wasn’t reciprocated. There were times when I celebrated my wins and felt the shade, the subtle undermining that made me feel like I was too much.  I dimmed my light, downplayed my success, and stayed quiet, all because I didn’t wanna rock the boat or be judged as selfish. But here’s the thing: when you’re not in alignment, your self will eventually push back. The universe will set things in motion, like dominos, forcing you to see the truth. 💡 Reflection Time:  Are there friendships in your life that are dimming your light? What are the red flags have you been ignoring in your relationships? Are you holding onto connections out of habit, history, or even trauma bonding? Your light is not meant to be dimmed.
