To mark the 50th anniversary of the Gay Liberation Movement in Aotearoa Auckland Pride held a symposium with two panel discussions. Chlöe Swarbrick hosts the first panel with queer elders Ngahuia Te Awekotuku and Fiona Clark as they discuss the significance of this milestone and share stories from the first few years of the movement. The second panel focuses on the future with key queer leaders in the community today facilitated by Elyssia Wilson-Heti former Creative Director at Auckland Pride.

Hear from Tangaroa Paul, Catherine Anderson, Meghan Collins and Cameron Ah Loo-Matamua as they look to the next 50 years, what is yet to be achieved, and what the future of Pride could look like to them.
