The Beatles are overrated. Meetwood Flack is overrated. Return of the Judi is overrated. Gen X is often ignored and with this podcast I think that the views expressed by the hosts of this show explain what these memories mean to a couple of close to 50 guys. We live in a world that is over saturated with so called “good stuff”. We enjoyed buttered popcorn made with coconut oil, drinking a fountain coke in a paper cup, and having a smile at a regular domed cineplex theater that had simple movie chairs to sit in. Gen X was good at making entertainment for themselves. Gen X were latch key kids. I am liking listening to memories of Saturday morning cartoons, pizza parlors with arcade games, renting VHS movie cassettes, and playing nerf football in the park.
