Get It Done Ep.1 : Industry and Trade Association Strategic Partnerships with Daniel A. Varroney

Daniel A. Varroney is the author of the groundbreaking book, Reimagining Industry Growth (WILEY January 2022). He is also founder of Potomac Core, a strategic consulting firm that specializes in association transformation and industry focused strategic partnerships. He has built a successful career as an association executive at organizations with diverse focus including the National Association of Manufacturers, Association for Corporate Growth, TechAmerica, and Newt Gingrich’s American Solutions Policy and Advocacy organization. 
His deep understanding of policy and regulatory influence on industries has shaped his approach to industry strategic partnerships. Through his own executive experience—and over a decade advising association clients—Dan has applied his data-driven strategic process to the industry and market challenges of trade associations and the domestic and multinational companies they represent.
Dan and his team helped build strategies that work with many associations including: Helicopter Association International, National Asphalt Pavement Association, American Frozen Food Institute, American Bakers Association, Association for Uncrewed Vehicles,  National Marine Manufacturers Association,  Consumer Energy Alliance, American Dairy Science Association, U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, Alliance for Automotive Innovation, and the Information Technology Industry Council.
 A prolific blog author, he launched and facilitates a group for leading association CEOs with a focus on industry strategic partnerships. His unique methodology has surfaced the key elements of successful strategic partnerships in multiple industries. 
He is also a sought-after expert on economic performance with appearances and articles on Mornings With Maria, (workforce, industry strategic partnerships, and building strategic partnerships in the energy industry), Fox Business, FOX News, LIVE NOW FOX, CNBC, NBC Bay Area, Fox 5 DC, FOX 26 Houston, MarketWatch, Fortune and Forbes. Dan was also recognized in June 2022 as a keynote speaker at the Leading Entrepreneurs of the World Conference on Strategic Partnership Strategies.
He graduated from The Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a Certificate in Leadership and Team Effectiveness from the Yale School of Management. He is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Dan and his wife, Jeanine, live in Manassas, Virginia.
