    S2x10 - "Don't Cry Rockstar, You'll Ruin Your Makeup"

    This week on a very special episode of Getting Mouthy, Lena's sister Anna (a big OTH and Getting Mouthy fan) joins Lena and Alex for the first half of our discussion of this week's episode. And what an episode it is! It's the morning after the formal and all hell has broken loose. Haley apologizes to Nathan, but tells him she won't stop working with Chris, sending Nathan into a rage at the music studio where he chokes Chris and calls him a loser. Completely unphased by this, Chris later kisses Haley and invites her, the underage songstress, to come with his grown ass to NYC. Mouth smashes a brick through Brooke's windshield in a wild incel rage, while Felix does his best to convince her he is not the culprit, but he is the one. Meanwhile, when Karen finds out Lucas declined his heart test, she flexes all her Karen energy and revokes his permission to play basketball, forcing Lucas to mope around town, isolated from his buddies who won't let him play. More importantly, Peyton is struggling when a vandal spraypaints a homophobic slur on her locker. When she decides to fight back, she gets suspended, sending her into a spiral of sadness and desperation for scumbag Rick to come through with some sweet drugs.  Join us as we discuss every component of this episode that you can   possibly imagine.     S2x09 - "It's Not Who You Take To Formal, It's Who You Take Home"

    This week in Tree Hill, Brooke and the gang are headed to the (spring?) formal just in time for all of their lives to come crashing down around them. When Nathan gets a tip that Haley is going to be crowned queen, he sets out to make the night extra special. But when Chris coerces Haley into practicing during his very expensive and limited studio time, she ends up arriving way late to the dance. All hell breaks loose when Nathan discovers this isn't the first time Haley has spent time with Chris and he starts to question her commitment to their teen marriage. Meanwhile, Peyton is having a rough night of missing her mom and not vibing at this lame ass formal, while battling the constant temptation to snort coke in the school bathroom. The worst part is that while Brooke and Peyton agreed to go together, Brooke is off falling for Felix, somehow, before Mouth tells her that Felix didn't actually take care of her after she got shit-faced at Tric a couple weeks back.     S2x08 - "What About the Risk of Never Feeling Alive Again?"

    Annnnnnnnd we are back!!! After a few weeks away due to traveling, recovering from Covid, and generally being disorganized, we have returned to you with another episode of Getting Mouthy. This week, while Nathan and Lucas travel to Charlotte to watch some meaningless basketball footage, the ladies of "the hill" throw a slumber party complete with soiled linens and slut shaming, after Peyton and Anna catch Brooke and Felix mercilessly humping in Haley's bed while Haley was busy laying down tracks with Chris Keller across town. Meanwhile, Karen and Andy are egregiously inappropriate, when Karen hands her professor (and boy toy) Andy her all-nighter paper and he marks it with a big fat A, with absolutely no evidence of ever reading it.     S2x07 - "People in this town have complicated personal lives"

    Is it Halloween in Tree Hill? Nah. But it is "House of Freaks" night at TRIC...and what a treat it is! After days of planning, Karen is opening her brand new club for all of the townspeople, with an "all-ages" club night. You know what that means! Her "inappropriately aged" boy toy/sugar daddy/Professor of Money is roaming around in search of a toddler-sized Lucas, while Haley is trying to keep from crying like a baby for fear of performing in front of the entire town. Meanwhile, Brooke puts strict boundaries on her FWB arrangement with Felix, while Mouth longs for her from afar, and Lucas and Anna heat up the dance floor like no one is watching. In other news, Dan tells Karen he caught Keith and Deb doing it, and Karen can't stop picturing all that hot, nasty, in-law sex every time she looks at them.     Big Dog Felix has organized a Dare Night in Tree Hill and invites Lucas, Nathan, Haley, Peyton, Brooke, Tim, Fergie, Mouth, and Skillz to join in on the fun. In true Lucas fashion, he saunters the local mall naked as can be in search of carousels and mysterious women, while Tim gets his crack waxed, Mouth raps about ass, Nathan dresses up as a knock off Girl Scout, Peyton confesses her sins, and Brooke is forced to hang out with Felix (who, for a "player," really had to go all out just to hang with B Davis). Meanwhile, Karen is bookmarking the Tree Hill Community College Employee Conduct Code as her professor, Andy "money bags" Australian, won't stop hitting on her.     This week on One Tree Hill, Brooke is broke and her new neighbor is flush with cash and making a splash! Meanwhile, Nathan doesn't know how money works and burns his on a new piano for Haley who, in all her teenage responsibility, cries because she wanted a car instead. Peyton has a vision for an all ages club night, but gets mixed up with the wrong kinda people when yet another predatory older character starts pushing drugs on her like the stereotypical TV drug dealer he is. Karen starts her college classes and is immediately singled out and relentlessly pursued by the young millionaire professor who gave up everything to teach community college in a town so lame it doesn't even have an all-ages club! Finally, Lucas takes a chance at getting to know Dan as they take walks, talk music, and drag race in the middle of the day. Keith, as always, is a great uncle.
