In a small village in England in the twelth century two strange children appeared by a wolf pit. This is unusual enough on it's own, but these children spoke a language never heard in Woolpit and their skin was, well... green. The mystery of the Green Children of Woolpit has enchanted and intrigued for the last 800 years, remaining tantalising close to solving.

Stretching over several layers, and roofed in by the City Chambers above, the Close has reportedly been haunted since a devastating plague outbreak in 1645.

The story of the Hopkinsville Goblins is the 'based on a true story' you've heard about without ever really hearing about. This 1950s encounter has all the makings of some of the best stories: UFOs, alien creatures, terrified humans in a farmhouse, and a clown car. Well...maybe not a clown car. But it's a nice image.
