Gibraltar's women's national team are in action later - at home - in an official UEFA competition. They take on Faroe Islands tonight at Europa Point Stadium in the UEFA Women's Nations League. Stefan Borge is part of the GBC team covering the match. Jan-André Diederich is a German linguist carrying out research on Gibraltar's linguistic landscape at the moment in Gibraltar. He is currently investigating the written languages visible in Main Street, i.e. signs, adverts, public and commercial notices etc. He will then compare this with the written languages visible in La Calle Real in La Linea. We spoke to him about the project alongside Manuel Enriles, of the Gibraltar for a Multilingual Society. Stella Bosano's 'Communicate' was the overall winner of this year's Young Artist Competition. A total of 43 art works were submitted this year, her piece was deemed the best of the bunch! She told us what inspired her piece. Parliament has heard current police resources are adequate for the effective monitoring of sex offenders in our community. Justice Minister Nigel Feetham also said Gibraltar has an equivalent process to Sarah's Law, the child sex offender disclosure scheme. Our News Editor Christine Vasquez was following yesterday’s Parliament session. And, Belgian harpist Anneleen Lenaerts, principal harpist at the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, will be performing live at the Convent Ballroom this evening! She offers an ambitious programme, including works by Mozart, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, and Dvořák, transcribed for harp. We spoke to her ahead of the concert, with Ernest Gomez and Maria Macias.
